The Brief 90s Blüt Reunion

Blüt had one brief, shining reunion moment in 1991, at the wedding of a friend. It was an October wedding, and an old colleague suggested that the band contribute a recording to a Christmas album that was being released in New York. The following was the result. In spite of our worst effort ever captured on tape, this recording was a hit on some public access radio station in New York. Clearly there were too may coke-addled New Yorker hipster kids awash in ironic detachment. Or maybe that was just Phineas. I hear Bret Easton Ellis gave Moby a reach-around while this was on the box. Or the other way around. Whatever - Warner-Chappell got the royalties, part of the reason why we never did covers in the first place.
